The Manifattura Tabacchi in Turin was an active tobacco manufacturing factory for over two centuries, producing cigars, cigarettes, and pipe tobacco. It ceased operations in 1996. In the mid-19th century, with two locations on Via della Zecca and Corso Regio Parco, it became one of the city’s major industrial establishments, employing around 600 workers and ranking as Italy’s second-largest factory after the country’s unification
